Upcycling - make flowers from leftover fabric (workshop) 12:00-14:00

Come and make the finest flowers from steel wire and leftover fabric from various second-hand shops in Aarhus. If you bring a hairpin or hair clip, it can be sewn on and used as a hair accessory.

We provide the fabric and any accessories.

PLANTE-CYANATOPIA (workshop) 12:00-14:00

Come and participate in an exciting workshop at Klostertorv during Aarhus Festival, where we explore the interaction between art and nature. Using the technique, you will have the opportunity to create your own unique blueprints with plants as motifs.

We will provide both plants and materials that you can use to make your prints, but you are also welcome to bring your own objects or plants that you want to use as motifs.

Whether you are experienced or a beginner, this workshop is a great opportunity to try out a creative process and create a piece of work.

Cyantropy, or blueprinting as it is also known, is an older photographic technique dating back to the 1800s. It is a technique that uses ferrous chemicals, sunlight and water to develop prints in blue.
