African Foodprint Workshop
Join us for an open and free Festuge workshop with West African music and dance at turkis!
Would you like to take part in an inspiring workshop and are you curious about African dance, rhythm, and music?
Would you like to experience the joy of movement and drumming in a day full of energy and togetherness? Then come and join this exciting, free workshop where community and well-being are at the center.
You'll be introduced to African rhythms and dances with our skilled Master Drummer Frank Prah (known from Ayankofo and Total Hip Replacement) along with other talented musicians from Ghana and Denmark.
Everyone is welcome – no prior experience needed. Even if you've never danced or played music before and don't know anything about African music, you can still join in.
We provide drums, and you decide whether you want to drum, dance, or do both! The workshop will be introduced in easy-to-understand English, and the facilitators have many years of experience.
It’s free, there’s plenty of space, and no registration is required – just show up in comfortable clothes, and bring a water bottle and a packed lunch.
We can’t wait to see you!
