Art by Anne Zidore at Tiny Window on Aarhus Ø

Anne Zidore is an Aarhus-based visual artist. She mainly works with classic oil painting on canvas and is inspired by science, space, gravity, perspective, proportions, climate and our relationship with nature.

She paints familiar things from everyday life, animals and landscapes with space as background, which works as a surreal aspect that challenges and distorts the subject of the painting. Several of her paintings are based on photos taken by astronauts from the ISS and previous moon missions.

The exhibition features both new and older original works, smaller watercolor paintings and art prints.
