Danseteltet: Brazilian Zouk

Århus Zoukforening invites you to participate in a beginnerworkshop and social dance in Danseteltet in the flowy and lovely danse Brazilian Zouk.

Brazilian Zouk is a partner dance which began in the 1990s. Brazilian Zouk evolved from the partner dance known as the Lambada. Over time, Zouk dancers have experimented and incorporated other styles of music into Zouk, such as R'n'B, pop, hip hop and contemporary. It allows you to create and express what ever emotion and atmosphere you like. Zouk is a flowy, sensual and connection-based couples dance. You learn basic patterns and body-isolations and from there you can improvise to what ever music indefinite.

From 8-9 pm we will teach a beginners workshop and afterwards there will be a social dance, where everyone are welcome to join.

We will teach in English if it is needed.
