Kizomba in the Dance Tent 2025 – with Criss Kizz

Experience Kizomba – a sensual and elegant partner dance with roots in Angola, known for its close embrace and grounded flow. The dance radiates presence, musicality, and deep connection between two people.

Once again, the Dance Tent is excited to welcome Criss Kizz from Kizomba Aarhus, who invites you to an intense and soulful Kizomba session – open to both beginners and experienced dancers.

Program (8:00 PM – 11:00 PM):

8:00–9:00 PM: Intro to Kizomba

You’ll be introduced to the basic steps and core principles of Kizomba. We'll work on the fundamentals, feel the music, and create connection with your partner. No prior experience needed – and no partner required.

9:00–11:00 PM: Social Dance

After the intro, the floor opens for social dancing in a cozy and inclusive atmosphere. It's a great opportunity to practice what you've learned, immerse yourself in the music, and enjoy the community – regardless of your level.

Come and feel the magic of Kizomba – slow, intense, and full of connection. Instruction is available in both Danish and English as needed.

Kizomba Aarhus meets every Wednesday at Folkestedet. We start with an intro class from 7:40–8:15 PM, followed by social dancing from 8:15–10:30 PM. Everyone is welcome – no registration or dance partner needed. Join the Kizomba Aarhus Facebook group and stay updated on our events!
