Kizomba in the Dance Tent 2025 – with Gert Fred Karlson

Experience Kizomba – a sensual and elegant partner dance with roots in Angola, known for its close connection and grounded flow. The dance is all about presence, musicality, and deep connection between two people.

This year, the Dance Tent proudly welcomes Gert Fred Karlsson from Kizomba Aarhus, who invites you to an intense and atmospheric Kizomba session – open to both beginners and experienced dancers.

Program (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM):

4:00–4:45 PM: Intro to Kizomba

You’ll be introduced to the basic steps and core principles of Kizomba. We’ll practice the fundamentals, learn to feel the music, and connect with your partner. No prior experience needed – and no partner required.

4:45–6:00 PM: Social Dance

After the intro, the floor opens for social dancing in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. This is your chance to practice, dive into the music, and enjoy the community – no matter your level.

Come and feel the magic of Kizomba – slow, intense, and full of connection. Instruction is available in both Danish and English as needed.
