The teacher training programme Peter Sabroe Seminariet Aarhus - today called the teacher training programme VIA University College Aarhus - has participated in Aarhus Festival Week for almost 25 years. From 1991 to 2015. This year we celebrate our 25th anniversary and during that time we have participated and contributed with major projects and performances at many different locations. Below is a small selection and overview:

1991: Badeanstalten Den Permanente

1992: Aarhus Cycle Track

1994: Aarhus Central Station and in the trains

1997-1999 + 2012: Universe at Bispetorvet

2000: In buses around Aarhus

2001: Turbinehallen

2002: In front of Musikhuset

2002 + 2015: Strøget

2011: Aarhus River

2015: Dokk1

2021: In front of the Greenlandic House

All huge projects and performances. For the enjoyment of adults, children, young people and families. The latest addition is Tinman Garden. Inspired by the fairy tale The Wizard of Oz, which we will perform with a parade in the upcoming festival week. Here we will pay tribute to one of the characters from the fairy tale. Namely Tinman, who, with his creativity and blood-red heart, is a clear symbol that it's not only warm hands, but also creativity and heart that are needed when working with other people.

Tinman Garden will take place on Saturday 6 September 2025. The parade begins at Aarhus Central Station at 11.00 and then moves down Strøget to end at Bispetorvet at around 12.15.
