Hvælvingen - Østen

One of Danish music's biggest new stars will lift your Festival Monday with his big pop hits at Hvælvingen - even if it rains.

Since Østen released his first single 'Regn' in early 2024, the Aarhus-based singer and songwriter has enjoyed something of a meteoric rise.

The mega hit 'Regn', which at the time of writing has more than 3.5 million plays on Spotify, was followed up by his debut album 'Daylight'. An album that explores themes of rootlessness, depression and the fear of loss, forming a personal narrative of Eastern life - told through unique lyrics and strong, grandiose pop productions.

Several Danish media named 'Daylight' one of the best Danish albums of the year. Including Soundvenue, which also had Østen as one of the clear highlights when he had a completely packed 'Store Sal' in Musikhuset in the palm of his hand at this year's Spot Festival.
