International & Danes: Morning Dance with a Purpose
Start your day with energy, smiles, and new connections!
Rotary invites the whole of Aarhus to a joyful energy boost in celebration of Aarhus Festival’s 60th anniversary. On Tuesday morning from 7:30–9:00, DanseParaplyen’s tent in Byparken will transform into a vibrant and inclusive dance floor, where we travel through seven decades of music – from the twist of the 60s to today’s TikTok moves.
This morning brings Aarhusians and the city’s international residents together. We create a free space where you can meet new people, share a smile, and feel the joy of being part of a community – regardless of age, background, or dance skills.
We celebrate dance as a universal language that strengthens connections across cultures and builds bridges between people. At the same time, we shine a light on mental well-being. Rotary is a global network of people from all professions and backgrounds, working to make the world a better place – through projects that strengthen community, health, education, and peace.
In Denmark, we work with Headspace to promote openness about mental health, and to offer help and support to children, young people, and their families.
That’s why we call it Morning Dance with a Purpose. Help us set good things in motion!
No matter who you are. No matter where you are. You are welcome here.
