Josie x Hul (M56;10)

Hul is back at M56;10 with a handful of exciting "rock" artists, carefully curated for the discerning but curious Aarhusian. You are hereby invited to a Saturday in Mølleparken, with everything from British-flavoured jangle-pop, to shoegaze inspired hyperpop, to a slice of honest, hard-hitting Aarhus rock!

Josie:

Josie is Copenhagen's newest head-in-the-clouds, heartache pop group, formed in 2023, consisting of four friends, Charlotte, Dawn, Martin and Anton. The band has just released their first proper single with Precious Recordings; a classic 1-2 punch of classic jangle ramschackle with a hint of melancholic energy.

Josie have their feet firmly planted in the twee-pop genre, but have updated the classic formula with a current punk sensibility and made sure to include some "fuck you" in the mix.

Having already shared stages with the likes of Shonen Knife, power pop icon Paul Collins, legendary punk band Gorilla Angreb and many more, Josie is set to release their debut album this spring on legendary K Records.

Fans of Talulah Gosh, Shop Assistants and Tiger Trap will be thrilled by Josie's relatable and fun songs filled with jangle and charming vocals.
