miaw x Hul (M56;10)
Hul is back at M56;10 with a handful of exciting "rock" artists, carefully curated for the discerning but curious Aarhusian. You are hereby invited to a Saturday in Mølleparken, with everything from British-flavoured jangle-pop, to shoegaze inspired hyperpop, to a slice of honest, hard-hitting Aarhus rock!
miaw:
miaw is a cross-pop duo performing a ‘UK Bass’ inspired deconstructed club music resembling ‘Sega Bodega’ and ‘Pink Pantheress’ while blending into the field of shoegaze and 90’s triphop.
Consisting of Frederik Bruun and Liza Dries from Denmark and The Netherlands, the two producers use fast breakbeats, arpeggiated synthesizers and unorthodox sampling techniques to create a sound within the intersection between a remix and a popsong.
Their debut EP, released on danish underground label Petrola 80, have received multiple airplay through international radio stations such as BBC6, 1Live and P6 together with a list of reviews and mentions from GAFFA, Soundvenue, Undertoner, Bands of Tomorrow and BPM. The duo have despite their young career been performing at Showcases ‘ESNS’ and will be performing at SPOT 25’.
