M.Sonson x VÆXT (M56;10)

M.Sonson is one of Aarhus' newest electronica acts, behind the project is musician Mikael Juul Larsen, who combines the pulsating beats and rhythmic finesse of electronica with the raw energy and uncompromising attitude of hardcore punk.

M.Sonson delivers an intense and boundary-pushing sound experience, where sharp synth pads, heavy basslines and aggressive vocals merge into an energising musical expression. He calls it 'Scandinavian electro-noir'.

The debut single 'TRIST' was released on May 1 and balances musically on the edge of the introspective and the explosive. There are clear references to the dusty beats of the underground along with an aesthetic and edge that doesn't try to please, but instead insists on its own voice.

The single marks the beginning of M.Sonson's musical journey and promises an artist who dares to take chances and create his own space on the electronic music scene.
