Potters Jig

Potters Jig draws musical inspiration from Irish, Scottish and English music. The folk music tradition is the cornerstone, but we generally characterise the musical style as folk/rock.

Humour and joie de vivre are key elements in the musical glue that binds the band members together. Elements that shine through in both music and live performance. And we really enjoy getting out and performing live with our music.

The group got its start in 1977, playing Danish folk music. In the mid-eighties, the style changed to folk rock, and our first names "Go´Jawten" and "Antons Lydpotter" became Potters Jig.
