Right Now - Dance performance in search of presence

We live in a society where presence is in short supply. We as individuals want to put our energy into an impossible amount of projects and relationships. Here we have created a show that depicts what happens in the search for presence, and also what happens when it exists.

With humour, we explore the urge to be seen and to be the one who shouts the loudest - what might actually be a cry for true presence with each other. A frustration with the strange and unfamiliar now. And why is it so hard to feel your breathing - lifting and lowering your chest? In an impulsive and emotional expression, we find our way back to the present and each other - the microphone is passed on, now it's your turn to shout out loud.

X Dance Collective is a newly started dance collective from Aarhus that wants to explore themes through experimental movement.
