Streetparty: Bjonko

For more than two decades, Bjonko has developed and delivered wild and powerful Balkan Beats on clarinet and saxophone to the Scandinavian music scene – a hybrid that fuses traditional Balkan folk music with today’s mainstream genres.

Bjonko Stosic was born and raised in Copenhagen, but comes from a family of musicians from the city of Bitola in Macedonia.

He performs in various constellations and collaborates with bands and artists across all genres – from avant-garde experiments to fusions of hip hop and Balkan. Bjonko has, for example, worked with artists such as Fallulah, Klamfyr, Jokeren, Jooks, and Illusionisten.

Bjonko is a Balkan Beat artist who takes the best of the Balkans and the best of Denmark – and creates an unforgettable crossover!
