Here you can design and make your own bracelets, necklaces and earrings, inspired by African colours, patterns and materials. The workshop is open to all and is all about creativity, community and pride in the handmade.

Experience the art and culture of Afro hair braiding in a cosy and educational workshop in the middle of Klostertorvet.

On Saturday afternoon we invite everyone, young and old, to a creative workshop where you can get your hair braided and learn about the traditional techniques behind Afro hair braiding. Skilled braiders will share their knowledge and craftsmanship and talk about the rich history and meaning of braiding in African cultures.

The workshop is not only about style, but also about identity, community and cultural pride.
