Streetparty: Plant cyanthropy (blueprint) workshop
Join us for an exciting workshop on Monday 1 September at 12:00-14:00 at Klostertorvet.
We will explore the interaction between art and nature. Using the technique, you will have the opportunity to create your own unique blueprints with plants as motifs.
We will provide both plants and materials that you can use to make your prints, but you are also welcome to bring your own objects or plants that you want to use as motifs.
Whether you are experienced or a beginner, this workshop is a great opportunity to try out a creative process and create a piece of work.
Cyantropy, or blue print as it is also known, is an older photographic technique dating back to the 1800s. It is a technique that uses ferrous chemicals, sunlight and water to develop prints in blue.
