Bellevue Theatre's Summer Ballet presents four performances this evening: Vivi Flindt's direction of Flemming Flindt's 'Enetime', Alessandro Sousa Pereira's 'STOL - A Matter Of Trust' with Balé Teatro Guaíra, 'Castelo' also with Balé Teatro Guaíra and finally 'Le Jeune Homme et la Mort'.

'Enetime'

With great respect and pleasure, we present Vivi Flindt's direction of 'Enetime' in Flemming Flindt's choreography. 'Enetime' is an intense and psychological ballet about power, manipulation and desire. The performance unfolds a nerve-wracking encounter between a despotic teacher and a naive student. A gripping work where dance and drama merge in a dark and unforgettable story. The ballet is based on Eugéne Ionesco's play of the same name.

Brazil's Balé Teatro Guaíra gives you the opportunity to watch or re-watch 'Castelo', which wowed audiences and critics in 2024.

'STOL - A Matter Of Trust'

On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of Syverstol, Bellevue Teatret has invited Alessandro Sousa Pereira from Balé Teatro Guaíra to create a new work that combines dance and design. The work explores what Gentofte - the city where Arne Jacobsen lived and left his architectural mark - would be if it were a chair. The result is a choreographic tribute to form, function and community. Design School Kolding creates the Gentofte chair for the performance.

'Le Jeune Homme et la Mort' is a powerfully dramatic ballet about love, despair and death. A young man is confronted with his destiny in an intense encounter with an enigmatic woman. A visually striking and emotionally charged story where the darkest sides of life unfold through dance.
