The city seen from above: City Hall Tower
The 60 metre high tower of Aarhus City Hall was designed by internationally renowned architects Arne Jacobsen and Erik Møller and was built in 1937 - 1941.
Aarhus City Hall is a modern and functionalist building and a stylish 1930s icon of Aarhus. Clad in Norwegian marble, it is an expression of Danish design and architecture at its best. From the tower, you can look out over the different neighbourhoods and green areas of Aarhus.
In connection with The City Seen from Above, you can climb the City Hall Tower free of charge from Monday 1 September to Friday 5 September between 11am and 1pm.
You just need to go to the reception to the right at the main entrance, where someone will guide you the right way.
