The Thrill is a big-swinging blues band with a string of great concert experiences on both large and small stages behind them.
The Thrill are currently recording their debut album "Past and Present", which was released in September 2023.
The repertoire is a joy to recognise and makes the audience prick up their ears! The repertoire consists of authentic interpretations of well-known blues classics such as BB King, Muddy Waters, Ray Charles and Albert Collins, as well as newer swinging, funky blues numbers and original compositions. All delivered with a touch of smokin' hot Texas blues, empathy and plenty of blue blues riffs.
The Thrill consists entirely of experienced musicians who - after decades in the limelight of blues music - all have distinctly blue blood in their veins.
Bjørn "Blues" Langkilde (vocals) from the defunct Danablues is flanked by Palle Hansen (drums), John Vogt (bass) and Ture Reimer-Mattesen (guitar) and together they make up: The Thrill - Big swinging, electric and smoking hot!
