Trader x Hul (M56;10)

Hul is back at M56;10 with a handful of exciting "rock" artists, carefully curated for the discerning but curious Aarhusian. You are hereby invited to a Saturday in Mølleparken, with everything from British-flavoured jangle-pop, to shoegaze-inspired hyperpop, to a slice of honest, hard-hitting Aarhus rock!

Trader:

Since Trader started stirring back in 2019, they have made a name for themselves with compelling live concerts and critically acclaimed releases with songs that contain both the quiet and introverted, as well as the dirty and noisy.

In the autumn of 2022, Trader released their second album, 'Their Best Work So Far' - a noisy pop record that garnered the band even more publicity and radio rotation. After a good, long and intense period of concerts at home and abroad, the band decided to take a kind of inward-looking rest, where the three members decided to be something other than Trader for a while.

As the restless creative urge returned and new material accumulated, Trader began recording a new album in autumn 2024.

Working on the new songs has been about loosening the stylistic reins and trying to make room for more spacious and less defined songwriting, but Trader is still, first and foremost, a band made up of eternal love for a good tune in the right packaging.

With a setlist consisting of both new songs and Trader classics, the band is looking forward to packing up the gear and getting out and playing some live shows again.
