New Voices 1

New Voices is Trio con Brio's new three-year concert series, which Aarhus Musikforening shares with Boulez-Saal Berlin and Diamanten in Copenhagen. Two of the concerts fall in the 25/26 season, and each concert programme includes a world premiere, an important 20th century piano trio and one of the great piano quintets.

The vision is to let three of today's leading composers give their take on how a piano trio sounds in the 2020s in harmony with lesser known, but weighty, works from the first half of the 20th century. Each concert is crowned by a masterpiece for piano quintet, where Trio con Brio is joined by two of today's young string stars!
