UMTO x Lykke (M56;10)

Lykke is a Danish project within the genre of Nordic indie-folk, where she elegantly

captures the essence of the four seasons through life-changing events. In her songs,

she takes listeners on an emotional journey, such as experiencing betrayal and deceit

from loved ones for the first time on a bright summer day, as illustrated in the song

"Utro."

Her music is a tribute to the Danish language, skillfully combining beautiful melodies

with quirky and intricate lyrics. Lykke hides nothing behind facades—she says things

as they are, with an honest and raw tone.

Live performances are a true experience, where Lykke explores various forms of

expression. From an eight-person orchestra to a trio with clarinet and double bass,

and on to a four-voice a cappella arrangement, she always manages to renew her

musical performance and give the audience something special.

In October 2024, Lykke became part of the UMTO Tour, where young cultural creators

from all over Funen recognized her as one of the three most exciting young artists.

Lykke's unique combination of Nordic indie-folk and honest lyrics makes her music

an unavoidable experience.
