Upcycling workshop & open workshop - Give new life to used items and get inspired to think circular!
On Tuesday 2 September from 11:30-15:30, the Dome transforms into a vibrant, creative open workshop filled with ideas, the joy of recycling and practical tips.
You can explore a series of small workshops where you can learn new techniques and get inspiration for your own projects.
Skejby Rangers will show how used furniture is given new life through reupholstery and upcycling - and get inspiration for how you can transform the chair or table you have at home.
Red Cross invites you to a cosy sewing workshop "From Cloth to Cloth", where you can transform used clothes that are in too poor condition to sell into a cloth that you can take home. Pssst... we hear they're also setting up a pop-up shop in the Dome selling second-hand clothes.
Repair Festival is moving out with their mobile repair workshop. Bring your faulty electronics and get help with repairs, try the repair quiz or challenge your friends to a repair duel.
Øens Madhus will provide concrete tips and tricks on how to reduce food waste in everyday life - and of course taste delicious samples along the way.
It's all free, requires no registration and is open to anyone interested - whether you want to try your hand at a workshop, watch from the sidelines or just gather good ideas for future projects.
Stop by and fill your backpack with inspiration, practical tools and plenty of circular energy to get started yourself!
