Wild Technologies 2025 - Saturday for the whole family

Saturday, August 30, we invite you to a festival day full of technology, play and wonder – especially for children, but also for curious adults. Dokk1 and Bastionen will be transformed into a lively space packed with tech, ideas, and hands-on experiences at children’s level.

Get ready to meet Charlie, the polite humanoid robot from Hive, as he roams the building. Say hello to Bella and Bob – two robotic dogs who love attention. They’ll perform outside several times during the day, and who knows? They might even stand on their hind legs if you clap loudly enough.

Inside the library, children can dive into robot drawing, programming and creative building activities. The library staff will be ready with fun ideas and open robot kits.

In the expo area, imagination runs wild:

- Try mini-golf and table hockey – powered by robots – at Robotworkshop

- Meet Eduard and guide small robots through obstacle courses and ziplines

- Test your skills with Robothus Fyn’s robotic arms from Universal Robots

- See how technology can be used for play, learning and solving everyday challenges

The day is packed with child-friendly activities. You can explore the DokkX interactive exhibition, watch Dokk1’s giant book-sorting robot in action – and throughout the day, the whole building will be buzzing with life and technology.
