World-class trumpet: Matthias Höfs and The Prince of Denmark Air Force Band

Matthias Höfs is one of the most virtuosic and versatile trumpet players of our time and has for decades thrilled audiences around the world - both as a soloist and as a member of the legendary ensemble German Brass. The programme includes Morricone's Gabriel's Oboe, Brahms' Hungarian Dance no. 5, Kreisler's Liebesleid, the virtuoso Hora Staccato, the jazzy Black Bottom Stomp, and a selection of popular works in arrangements where the trumpet's range really shines.

The Prince of Denmark Air Force Band consists of professional musicians on brass and percussion. The orchestra serves the Royal Family, the Danish Defence and the Danish population - and is known for its great versatility and high artistic quality.
