Aarhus Architecture Run 2025 (sold out)

The Aarhus Architecture Run takes you through some of Aarhus' most beautiful buildings and hidden gems.

Location: Hvælvingen

The Architecture Run is an exercise race, but not quite as you know it. You can walk or run 5 or 10 kilometres through buildings and places where running is normally not allowed.

The race is not about winning - the focus is on the experiences and socialising as you move around the city. Therefore, you should also expect to add the distances inside the route's cultural institutions to the length of the route.

During the race, you'll gain access to normally closed passages, hidden paths and stairs, beautiful gardens and historic buildings. In line with the Festivals anniversary theme 'No Age', you will experience the best of both the old and new Aarhus. Get started!
