AMPLIFY LIVE x UMTO

UMTO (UngeMiljøernes TakeOver) and Amplify Live have joined forces to create a fantastic day of celebrations for grassroots artists during the festival week!

On 5 September, we’re bringing together five new acts at Mathilde Fibiger’s Garden to create an experience with something for everyone. Whether you’re into rock, jazz, neo-soul, pop or alternative punk techno, we guarantee a varied line-up of artists to make for a day of discovering new music!

The UMTO x Amplify Live collaboration for Festugen is based on working together and organising events jointly, to strengthen the youth scene around music and create experiences. Both UMTO and Amplify Live consist of young volunteers aged between 18 and 24 who want to gain experience in organising concerts – which is why the project as a whole is a learning journey for shared development, both on and off stage.

A little about Amplify Live:

Amplify Live aims to support the artist ecosystem in Denmark by giving up-and-coming musicians a unique opportunity both to perform live and to secure better conditions for further developing their musical work. Amplify Live seeks to create exclusive and intimate concerts, for which visual video material is produced and distributed via its own channels, as well as to benefit the artists’ own channels.

A bit about UMTO:

At the heart of UMTO are the cultural creators who handle sound, lighting, photography, visuals, booking, production and much more for our events. We’re made up of music-driven youth communities from across the country, coming together to create unique takeovers on major music platforms.
