BABYLON

BABYLON is experimental, fleeting and constantly evolving, exploring ambient, avant-garde and a generally playful universe.

Musically, BABYLON’s universe most often emerges through a bass line, which creates an auditory space with room for various soundscapes, melodies and tones from a range of other instruments, real sounds and ambient textures.

Live, you will never experience the same concert twice, as BABYLON is also improvisational and intuitive in its interaction with the context in which it finds itself.

BABYLON is both music and a series of spaces filled with a palette of colours and sounds that refract, coalesce and create both flashes of light and sonic collapses. These flashes and refractions create spaces where other artists can find their place and blend in with the rhythms and sounds that are being built up. BABYLON is atmospheric, and of its own accord conjures up images and a desire to close one’s eyes, to drift into one’s own imaginings and those parts of one’s existence that one is rarely invited to reflect upon.
