City-scapes
Paintings and drawings of the city. Mainly paintings of the harbour area and drawings of the city as a whole. The new district of Aarhus Ø has many fascinating buildings that can serve as a source of inspiration. The old Dok8000 crane and Prince Henrik’s Sirene, as well as the fantastic Dokk1 library. One of the paintings depicts a runner moving so fast that the figure is reduced to a few lines, with the Sirene in the background. The Dome is also featured, with a compass rose pointing towards it. One painting depicts the view to the east at sunrise in the morning mist. The drawings are fascinating explorations of the city’s architecture.
