Once again this year, the Folkehusene are taking part in Aarhus Festuge with the Minifolkehuset in Byparken. Here you can take part in activities, meet new people and find out more about your local community centre and the many opportunities for socialising, activities and experiences close to where you live.

At Minifolkehuset, you can find out more about how to find a community that suits you and how you can make use of the community centres in your everyday life. What is a community centre?

In Aarhus Municipality, there are 34 community centres that are open to everyone. Community centres are open and versatile venues that host cultural events, club activities, communities and groups, as well as health and fitness programmes. The community centres are run by Aarhus Municipality, but host groups and activities organised by volunteers from civil society.
