Draw plant patterns on porcelain
Come and explore the vibrant plant motifs of traditional Rishtan ceramics in a relaxed and creative workshop. As we draw together, we will share stories about the history, symbolism, and cultural significance of Uzbekistan’s colourful ceramic traditions.
Decorate your own mug, cup, or plate using porcelain markers while discovering the beautiful patterns and craftsmanship of Uzbek ceramics. You can draw inspiration from traditional examples or create your own unique design.
Volunteers from Uzbek Initiatives will guide participants throughout the workshop, and everyone is welcome to join – no prior experience is needed.
No registration is required. The workshop operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with space for 12 participants at a time. You are welcome to drop in and join whenever a seat becomes available between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
Homemade cakes will be available for purchase throughout the afternoon.
The workshop takes place outdoors in the turquoise garden.
