How can we rethink our wardrobes while making more sustainable choices? That's the focus of this workshop with Karla, the creator behind the knitting platform Femiknit, where sustainable knitting, fashion, and changing trends take centre stage.

Knitting is one of the few textile crafts where the same material can be reused again and again. By unraveling old knitted garments and reknitting the yarn into new designs, you can extend the life of the material and reduce the need for new resources.

For this workshop, participants are encouraged to bring one or more hand-knitted sweaters they no longer wear. With guidance from Karla and plenty of creative inspiration, you'll have the opportunity to rethink, redesign, and reknit your existing knitwear into something you'll love wearing again.

The workshop explores how small changes can help extend the life of our clothes and support a more circular approach to fashion. Creativity, craftsmanship, and sustainability go hand in hand, and you'll leave with new knowledge, fresh inspiration, and a unique knitted piece with a whole new life.
