When Aarhus Festuge begins on 28 August 2026, we invite you to an atmospheric and special gala evening at Musikhuset Aarhus
Here you can experience a sensory and thought-provoking performance exploring two of life’s greatest themes: love and death.
‘Love & Death’ is an intimate conversational performance hosted by Anders Agger. Together with the house orchestra – Tina Dickow and Helgi Jónsson – as well as parish priest and social commentator Sørine Gotfredsen, he invites the audience to an evening where conversation, music and reflection merge.
The performance moves between conversation, readings, communal singing and live music, leaving room for whatever arises along the way. The audience is invited into a shared space where presence, reflection and the unpredictable are all part of the experience.
Alberte Winding will be a guest at the gala opening on 28 August.
