Holdo

Over the past year, Holdo has made a name for herself on the Danish music scene with her organic, electronic sound, which explores the boundaries between different genres. Aiming to cover everything from festival and venue gigs with a live band to intimate DJ sets at underground clubs, Holdo has already performed at events including SPOT, Distortion, Baggen and Kaleido Festival, as well as the first two headlining gigs at a sold-out Ideal Bar and Volume Village.

With the singles ‘Lost’ and ‘Simpel Melodi’, Holdo cements his position as one of the most exciting acts on the Danish electronic scene. Both tracks blend danceability with atmosphere, and in ‘Lost’, Holdo uses a sample from the track ‘Ideal’ by kindred spirit CHINAH, creating an ethereal and compelling fusion of house and indie-electronica. The melancholic vocals create a space that is both wistful and hopeful, interplaying with airy synths and delicate chords. On ‘Simpel Melodi’, Holdo invites the critically acclaimed artist USSEL into her melancholic soundscape, and together they have created a beautiful and vulnerable song.
