Kadum parade and free dance workshop

Come and join us for a spectacular dance procession through the streets of Aarhus to the sound of the mighty Kadum drums!

We are a dance troupe that has been engaged in the dances, songs and cultural traditions of the Sukuma people in Tanzania for over 40 years and we want to share our love of this unique culture with everyone of you.

We will start at 2:00 pm at Store Torv, where our colourful costumes and impressive drums will make us hard to miss.

Everyone is welcome to join in the dancing along the way - the steps are quite simple and easy to follow - or simply walk with us and enjoy the atmosphere as we make our way through the city.

The procession ends in Mølleparken, where we will be teaching a few traditional dances to anyone who would like join in.
