Lissis Blues Band

Lissis Blues Bandis a rock/blues band formed as a tribute to Lissi Andersen, who owned the pub from 1983 to May 2025. The band was founded by two legendary Aarhus musicians, Erik Clausen and Ole Bech, who have played countless times at the legendary music pub – Hos Anders – from its inception in 1983 right up to the present day.

Lissi’s Blues Band plays Rock ’n’ Roll & Blues with great passion and boundless energy. The music is a tribute to old-school Rock ’n’ Roll pioneers such as Chuck Berry, Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard. Their performance is lively and energetic, and their repertoire consists of classic rock numbers such as ‘Shake Rattle and Roll’, ‘Whole Lotta Shakin’’, ‘That’s All Right Mama’ and more, whilst also featuring original songs composed by Ole Bech.

The band consists of:

Ole Bech: Guitar & vocals. Armed with a fine voice and skilful guitar playing, he has toured the country extensively, both as a solo artist and as frontman in numerous bands: Soulmates, Pocket Players, and others. Known for his highly energetic stage presence, a wide range of rock ’n’ roll poses and a great enthusiasm for sharing selected anecdotes and tall tales, always delivered with a twinkle in his eye.

Peter Bødker: A divinely gifted keyboard wizard known from Johnny Madsen & Bamses Venner, Stig og Vennerne.

Erik Clausen: Bass. An experienced superbassist who has played in numerous bands, including Mek Pek Party Band and Henning Stærk.

Mathias Rindom is a drummer who, over the past many years, has played with, amongst others, Big O & The Blue Quarters, Alan Haynes, Mek Pek, Natural Boogie and James Harman. 

Jacob and Josef Baumgartner, on guitar and keyboard respectively, as well as vocals, have been playing together since they were old enough to climb onto a piano stool and strum
