LIVE MUSIC: Paolo de Jesus Quartet

Band name: Paolo de Jesus Quartet The Paolo de Jesus Quartet operates within an experimental musical space where different genres and traditions intersect, creating a dynamic, vibrant and, not least, personal universe. Featuring high-calibre musicians from the Danish jazz scene, the quartet performs original compositions by the Danish-Filipino trumpeter Paolo de Jesus Maido, who is currently studying at the Jazz-Institut Berlin. Whilst rooted in jazz, the music draws its inspiration from indie, ambient and hip-hop, resulting in a fresh and exciting soundscape.
