Loki's Quest - outdoor escape game

The year is 865.

The giants of Norse myth, the Jötnar, are marching toward the Viking town of Aarhus, and the local Vikings are desperately fighting to hold back the enemy. But in the midst of the chaos, the cunning and unpredictable god Loki has stolen their most powerful weapon - a legendary axe - and sold it in pieces across modern-day Aarhus.

Thor is furious. He has therefore sent his most trusted Aesir - YOU - through time to recover the lost fragments of the axe and reassemble the weapon before it is too late. As punishment, Loki is forced to help you… but his clues and guidance are as cryptic and mischievous as he is.

Loki’s Quest is a real-world escape game for grown ups, played across the historical Viking town in Aarhus. Embark on an adventure through the streets of Aarhus, where hidden gems, cryptic clues, and quirky puzzles await around every corner., and learn about Aarhus in the Viking age as a bonus. Older kids can participate together with an adult.

Race against the clock and compete for a top spot on the leaderboard – or take your time and enjoy the experience at your own pace. The game is interactive with GPS and facilitated by the UrbiHunt mobile app.

The game is created by UrbiHunt, an Aarhus-based escape game company known from the radio show Troldspejlet by Denmark’s national broadcaster DR.
