Lunar Vocals (4 August)

Lunar Vocals is an Aarhus-based rhythmic women’s choir led by Ditte Dupont, specialising in vocal improvisation with an atmospheric yet powerful Nordic sound.

Their repertoire consists of a wide range of arrangements, primarily their own, spanning the genres of folk, pop, soul and Nordic folk music.

The musical foundation is based on a blend of improvisation and vocal painting, drawing on both well-known and original compositions.

The sound is inspired by the Nordic style and possesses both edge and sparkle. With its unique tone and line-up, the choir adds a distinctive sound to Aarhus’s music scene.
