Maestra is a women's choir from Aarhus with a focus on modern vocal music, mainly arranged by conductor Malene Rigtrup. Maestra's music is strong, empathetic and relevant and the choir strives for artistically beautiful concerts - often with visual effects.

Based on a strong youth community and the involvement of the choir singers in various committees, Maestra is an elite choir, where cohesion is the focal point for the artistically high musical level.

Maestra has performed with a wide range of artists, including Hymns From Nineveh, Who Killed Bambi, Goss and Sanne Salomonsen.

In 2024, Maestra celebrated its 15th anniversary and is part of Aarhus Music School/Aarhus Choir School.
