MARQ has long been a figure in the background of Aarhus’s hip-hop underground scene, but is now stepping into the spotlight as a recording artist in his own right.

On his debut single ‘INTROLUDE’, he is joined by some hugely prominent names, such as Jonathan Bremer and Oilly Wallace. These collaborators are testament to his exceptional talent and have attracted widespread interest from various media outlets. With his follow-up, the energetic ‘DEN DER’, MARQ shifts his genre towards more classic hip-hop, underlining his broad artistic range.

MARQ is a rapper’s rapper. His flow is superb and playful, and he writes lyrics that are both coherent and relevant. These aren’t just bars for the sake of bars, but songs with a message, lyrical flair and rhyme schemes that are rare on the current Danish hip-hop scene.
