OMVÆNDT

OMVÆNDT consists of four young musicians with very different musical backgrounds. The band has found common ground in music, and through it, their very own sound. The lyrics are direct and authentic, and the music is inspired by artists such as Trentemøller and The Minds Of 99. The result is a fusion of indie, rock and electronic music, which has led to a unique sound.

When OMVÆNDT play live, they create a space for reflection and contemplation. Melodic piano pieces and intense synthesiser sounds are accompanied by Andreas Nielsen’s direct and honest vocals. It is music that resonates within you and lyrics that find a place in your mind. The music invites you to draw your loved ones closer and to feel the emotions that can be difficult to put into words, but which OMVÆNDT brings to life through their music.

OMVÆNDT has previously made a name for itself on the Aarhus music scene by, amongst other things, reaching the final of the Fatter Eskil Award, appearing on MONO x Undervejs at Radar, Proud Artist and more.
