Popular hits from Carmen at Salling ROOFTOP

Join us for an afternoon above the rooftops of Aarhus and enjoy highlights from one of the world's most beloved operas – Carmen. This autumn, Carmen will be staged by The Danish National Opera under the direction of acclaimed director Johanne Holten.

At Opera on the Rooftop, you can experience The Danish National Opera Chorus together with featured soloists as they bring the unforgettable story of Carmen and Don José to life. Host Susanne Vinther will introduce Bizet's iconic 1875 masterpiece, and the programme also includes a community sing-along with the city skyline as the backdrop.

On stage, you will meet three outstanding performers: Laura Mayer, singing the role of Carmen, alongside Fredrik Sonnenborg Bjellsäter as Don José.
