Red Bull Dance Your Style – Denmark Finale

Red Bull Dance Your Style is returning to Aarhus!

This year, the national final of the world’s biggest freestyle dance competition will be held in Aarhus on 29 August.

The event will be hosted by Jasseminho and Emilie Brooklyn, who will guide both the audience and the 16 talented dancers through the day.

The winner will qualify directly to represent Denmark at the World Final in Zurich later this autumn.

What is Red Bull Dance Your Style?

Red Bull Dance Your Style is an international one-on-one street dance competition held at a wide range of venues around the world. Here, the dancers compete against each other by combining different styles and moves in their battles.

The 16 participants compete in a knockout format, starting in the round of 16 and dancing their way through the tournament towards the final.

The music is controlled by the DJ, so the dancers need to be creative and able to improvise when an unexpected track is suddenly played. You never know what the next track will be – only that the atmosphere will be both intense and festive.

The aim is to impress the audience with your freestyle dance, because in Red Bull Dance Your Style, it’s the spectators who are the judges. After each battle, they vote using a red or blue voting card for the dancer they think deserves a place in the next round.
