It’s about nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing, nothing.
Truly nothing. At least, that’s what we’re promised. For a moment, we are free – in a world on fire.
SLUGS is an absurd, sensory performance that slips between theatre, concert, clowning, and puppetry, all in a kind of joyful free fall.
The award-winning Canadian duo Sam Kruger and S.E. Grummet insist it’s about nothing at all. But in their attempt to sidestep the world’s big questions — politics, climate, identity — SLUGS ends up circling right back to them.
On stage, a chaotic universe unfolds: music, puppets, live camera, and fractured storytelling collide in a space where everything feels on the verge of tipping over — and where humour and unease exist side by side.
SLUGS is playful, unsettling, and lingers long after it’s over.
