Street Photography Workshop - Around Dokk 1

Through a combination of theory, hands-on exercises, group reflection, and photo editing, participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of the creative process behind street photography. Participants can expect to improve their understanding of light, composition and timing. A variety of photographic exercises encourage creative thinking, while constructive feedback and individual guidance help participants develop their ability to observe, anticipate, and capture compelling moments.

Street photography is about much more than simply photographing people in public spaces. The genre is rooted in the ability to create images that tell stories about everyday life and transform the urban environment into visual art through strong graphic elements, light and composition.

This full-day workshop is designed for beginners as well as photographers with some prior experience. Whether using a DSLR, mirrorless camera or smartphone, participants will learn practical techniques for creating beautiful street photographs.
