SYL

SYL are a Copenhagen-based hardcore band who really must be experienced live.

With piercing energy and intense, compelling performances, they have quickly made a name for themselves as one of the most uncompromising acts on the Danish scene. Their sound combines the raw power of the hardcore genre with elements of post-punk and noise rock. It captures a sense of anxiety, powerlessness and vulnerability.

At the forefront is Benjamin Clemens, whose aggressive and commanding vocals cut through the band’s noisy, hard-hitting sound. Together, they create a space where the audience doesn’t just watch, but becomes part of the catharsis.

SYL are a band moving rapidly forwards. Among other things, they have taken to the Orange Stage at the Roskilde Festival alongside D1MA and will be headlining a concert at Store VEGA in 2027.

SYL are a hardcore band who don’t ask for space.

They take it.

And their gigs leave few people unmoved, not even those experiencing the genre’s unique sense of community for the first time.
