Taste the World – Cultural Café by Sundheds Rewaq

Sundheds Rewaq warmly invites everyone to experience a unique cultural café during Aarhus Festival Week.

Our association brings together members from approximately 13 different nationalities who are eager to share their cultures, traditions and stories with the people of Aarhus. Visitors can explore cultural displays, traditional clothing, handmade crafts, photographs and small exhibitions representing different countries and cultural backgrounds.

Throughout the day, guests can enjoy traditional music, cultural presentations and folk dances from various communities. There will also be opportunities to meet local residents from diverse backgrounds and learn more about their traditions and everyday lives.

The cultural café will offer traditional Turkish, Moroccan, Iraqi and other Middle Eastern refreshments, including tea, coffee, pastries, small breads and homemade specialties prepared by our members. Food and beverages will be available for purchase, and all proceeds will support the voluntary community activities of Sundheds Rewaq.

The event celebrates diversity, inclusion, health, community spirit and intercultural dialogue. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, background or nationality.
