The Children's home - Love Flies Through Aarhus South

Pop along to Børnenes home (The Children's home) when home Sydbyen visits five local spots around Sydbyen during Aarhus Festuge.

We’ll be filling the air with soap bubbles and handing out balloons and lollipops and invite children and families to leave their own mark on the Festival with little messages of love for the people, places and communities they care about.

A home is not just about bricks and tiles. It’s also about togetherness, community and the people who make everyday life special. Inspired by the Festival Week’s theme of Love & Death, we’re focusing on the relationships and memories that bind us together, and on the places where we feel at home.

Children can draw, write or talk about something they care about – perhaps their family, best friend, pet or favourite place in the local area. These little messages of love will become part of our festive stops around Sydbyen and help spread joy across the neighbourhoods.

The event is free and open to all. Pop by our colourful ID. Buzz, experience the giant soap bubbles, take a balloon home with you and have your photo taken amongst the bubbles.

We’ll be visiting Tranbjerg, Højbjerg, Viby, Solbjerg and Beder during the Festival Week, and no registration is required. Pop in for five minutes or stay a little longer – everyone is welcome.
